WHO WE ARE
I remember as a kid, my Dad always recruited me in the Fall to help with the removal of the woodstove so we could clean up the stove pipe and liner. He was adamant that we had to get it swept out in order to keep the family safe and avoid chimney fires. Here I am 40+ years later, with that same passion. It is important to me that your chimney and fireplace are safe, free of damage, clean and efficient.
As a CSIA certified chimney sweep and inspector, I want to help keep you and your family safe while maintaining the value of your home. As a licensed contractor, I am prepared to perform any repairs needed.

I had Dustin at Southwest Painting and Chimney inspect my chimney. (A previous inspection stated that everything “was good.”) Dustin showed me that my chimney crown was basically non-existent (which explains why rain was pouring out of my chimney flues. I have a double chimney) and also that I had rodent nests in one of the flues. Dustin cleaned out the rodent nests and repaired the chimney crown. I cannot give him a higher recommendation. He's honest and up front. A rare quality to find these days.

I was so impressed with Dustin Brown with Southwest Painting & Chimney Pro from the moment I first called him for a chimney sweep & inspection. He was very nice to work me into his already busy schedule, and was even courteous enough to ask me if I would be going to Church on Sunday, in case he had to work me into his weekend time. He showed up on a Friday evening and a fine chimney sweep he did, while even inspecting it from the roof to ensure everything was in good shape.
From there, we discussed a couple of painting projects, which included both my vaulted ceiling in my living room area, and my master bedroom which also has a vaulted ceiling. His pricing was very reasonable in my opinion, and his meticulous workmanship and attention to detail was more than appreciated for these additional paint jobs.
My daughter & son in law who have a rental home here at SML also hired him to clean and Inspect the two fireplaces they have there, and they were also very pleased with his knowledge and the advice he was able to share. He even sealed the tops my daughter said! I certainly know who I will be calling when the time is right for a couple of other painting projects I plan to have done.
